Match report:
FT: Glasnevin NS 1-5 - 1-3 St Joseph’s Primary.
On a beautiful sunny day for a match the boys travelled to Na Fianna’s grounds to play their first CNMB Gaelic Football match of the season against a good Glasnevin NS side.
The boys started the first half very strong and went in with a lead of 3 points at half time.
The second half started very even and scores from both schools were shared until the final 5 minutes where Glasnevin scored a goal and 2 points unanswered to snatch the victory.
The boys put in a huge effort and although disappointed with the result learned that you have to lose some to win some more.
On to their next match, next Thursday, where they will be at home against Glasnevin ETNS in Fairview Park!
