Boys Soccer Team end their league campaign in style!
Match report:
St Joseph’s Primary 6 - 1 Central Model School
With wet and windy conditions for the boys last match of their successful league season, it was always going to be a tricky task.
The boys started the brighter of the two teams and found themselves going 1-0 up early after a brilliant finish from Bailey Brophy.
The boys kept up the hard work and found themselves 3-0 up at half time, goals courtesy from Luka B and Captain Jack Moore.
The boys started the 2nd half as they had begun the first and kept up the pressure to soon be ahead 6-0, goals from Bailey and Jack again ensuring victory for the team.
Central Model kept battling to the end of the match and were rewarded with a penalty in the final minutes which was fired home to end the match 6-1.
A huge congratulations to the boys on all their efforts with Soccer in the league this year having won 2/3 matches.
They will now await to see if they have done enough to qualify for the knockout rounds!
