The boys soccer team started off their League season strong today with a well-earned 5-2 victory over Broomsbridge ET in Cabra West this morning.
The boys created plenty of chances and were unlucky to be leading only 1-0 at the break.
The second half got underway and the boys soon went 2-0 through brilliant attacking teamwork. Broomsbridge then pulled one back to set up a tense last 10 minutes but the resilience by the defenders and determination of the midfield and attackers, saw the boys up their game further to secure a 5-2 victory.
A brilliant start to their league campaign and with two remaining league fixtures and a second round cup fixture they’ll have plenty of more great opportunities to showcase their skills in the coming weeks!
