Today our Junior team consisting of boys mainly from 3rd - 5th class played a challenge match in Fairview Park against O’Connell’s.
The boys played tremendously and even though they were 5 points down at half time, managed to stage a brilliant come back in the 2nd half which saw them only narrowly defeated by 1 point in the end, with 2 posts and 2 crossbars hit in the process!
A huge thank you to the boys who took part and the staff for helping set up the pitch today and got the boys ready for the match!
