We are incredibly excited to announce a partnership between St Joseph's and Shelbourne! This partnership will see Tony from Shelbourne come into St Joseph's each week to coach our boys not just in football but also in games in general. Sport or physical activity is so important for children's mental health and to be able to link in with a club and in particular Tony, who shared the same ideas was just fantastic. This partnership will hopefully see trips for boys to go and watch the matches and also see speakers come in talk about the importance of education and sport .
I can't thank our former past pupil Daniel Ennis enough, for bringing this partnership to life. It was great to see his enthusiasm for building our links with the community and also for looking out for the boys in our school. We are also delighted to have Daniel join our Board of Management as our Community Nominee.
We are looking forward to beginning this journey after Easter.
